This piece was recently donated and sold at Womanmade Gallery (Chicago). It was created in the year 2000, when I moved to Chicago. At the time, I was teaching ESL at a community college. The students got a kick out of phrasal verbs such as "chicken out." I explained to them what other funny phrasals (verbs composed of 2 or more words) were. They found out that "get off" does not always mean "get off" the bus.
