This is a painting I made of the Davis Street underpass. Specifically, it's under the Metra Tracks. I was looking at a mural that Michael Montenegro painted long ago. I captured the warm light that broke over the railing and onto the sidewalk at 5 PM during the summer months. I was drawn to the geometry of the interplay of light and shadow.
