Urban Cityscapes
Thank you to my artist/friend Nina Weiss for the permission to paint this image from her trip to San Miguel de Allende. I long to go. In this painting, I used a palette knife to apply the impasto (thick paint). There are numerous visible brush strokes. It is an example of broken color, in which a painter doesn't blend the colors together. Instead, the individual strokes are like tiles in a mosaic.
