This painting is from my collective memories of swimming in the water. I hope that viewers can imagine themselves doing the same. I painted it in a loose, Impressionistic style in order to represent the idea of a vast body of water, rather than a specific space. The blue and green colors as well as the horizontal lines create a calming effect. The paint is thick and brush strokes are evident.
