This is a parody of masculinity, of sorts. I vented some of my frustrations with being a woman while making this. Such frustrations include being judged by the tone of my voice, my physique, and general assumptions about who I should be (but am not).

It also celebrates the masculine side of me, that I am beginning to nurture and appreciate (instead of suppress and hide).

Finally, episodes from my life (inside jokes with friends) fear of cancer (which, by the way, turned out to be benign) and a general fascination (mixed with disgust) regarding cowboy culture (yes, I lived in Kentucky) also fueled the work.
